Hunting Attire

Although Hunting is a traditional sport, the attire has evolved over the centuries for both practical and safety reasons.  The heavy hunt coat is worn to protect one from both the elements and obstacles. The stock tie and pin serve as a bandage in times of need and neck tie to keep the wind at bay. The stiff leather riding boots and hard hat are worn primarily for protection although they do serve to complete the image of the traditional fox hunter.

The Eglinton & Caledon Hounds attire varies from formal to country casual depending on the occasion. This is mainly based on tradition, but with a  twist of  contemporary style thrown into the mix!
